The Faculty of International Relations of Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University was founded in 1994 to prepare highly qualified professionals in international relations, economics and political studies.
 

There are seven departments in the structure of the Faculty:

  • Department of International Relations;
  • Department of International Economics;
  • Department of International Journalism;
  • Department of World Religions and Culture;
  • Department of National Economic and Development;
  • Department of Political Science;
  • Department of World Languages.
 

The teaching process at the Faculty is also supported by:

  • The Americanism Center;
  • The Centre for Intercultural Germanistics;
  • The Centre of Chinese Studies;
  • The Center for Turkish Studies;
  • The Center for Iranian Studies;
  • The Center for the C.I.S. and Baltic states;
  • The Center for the Korean Language;
  • The Center for the Greek Language;
  • The Center of Informatics and Foreign languages;
  • The Center for International Students.
 

The faculty offers the following educational programmes:

  • Undergraduate degree programmes of study in:
    • Economics;
    • Political Science.
  • Specialist degree programmes of study in:
    • International relations;
    • International Economics;
    • Journalism;
    • Religious Studies.
  • Master's degree programmes of study in:
    • International Economics;
    • State and Local Government Management;
    • International Trade;
    • Macroeconomic Planning and Analysis;
    • Theory of International Political Process and International Relations.

 

The faculty also offers doctoral degrees in relevant fields.

Academic Staff

The Faculty of International Relations is home to an outstanding group of adjunct professors, scholars and experts, among them 14 with Doctoral degrees, 37 with PhD degrees and other eminent experts (representatives of embassies and international organizations as well as former senior diplomats and government officials, etc.).
